    Smithsonian Exhibit Tour and Reception

On Thursday, September 17, 2015, Syracuse University alumni and friends joined at the National Postal Museum in Washington, DC, for a private tour of "Freedom Just Around the Corner." This exhibit is the National Postal Museum’s first exhibition devoted entirely to African American history.

Our very own Daniel Piazza G'04, Calvin Mitchell G'73, Dick Sheaff G'77, and Christine Lefebvre '05 curated and designed this exhibit. The program also included remarks by Kishi Animasaun Ducre, associate professor and chair of Syracuse University’s Department of African American Studies. Click on the photos below to view the gallery.
