Where are you currently living? I'm currently living in Canberra, Australia working at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, Australia.

What are you currently doing with your degree? My undergraduate degree was in international relations and policy studies at Syracuse University and I added a cyber security focus by getting a master's degree in information systems at Pace University in NYC. With both my degrees, I am now working in the U.S. Foreign Service on projects related to information resource, management, and cyber security.

How did participating in Immersion Week impact your career path? Immersion week allowed me to realize that I wanted to pursue a career in public service mainly in the foreign affairs industry. The immersion program allowed me to narrow down my focus to government by meeting with Syracuse Alumni who gave me valuable advice from the FBI, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Department of State.

Any advice for potential Immersion Week participants/future SU graduates? Never stop asking questions and keep learning. There is always something more to learn. Never cut corners and do your best work in all your tasks. No task is beneath you.
